Keem Bay is located on the most westerly tip of Achill Island, but the drive there is definitely worth the trip. The bay sits in between the Cliffs of Benmore to the west and Croaghaun Mountain to the east. There is a reason why Keem Bay is the most popular thing to do in Achill Island. The views at Keem Bay are absolutely breathtaking, and it is the perfect area to escape and relax, whether you want to swim in the clear, blue water or you simply want to walk down the sandy beach. There are also lifeguards on duty during the day.
