Connor Pass is commonly known as one of the most scenic drives in all of Ireland. The drive offers stunning views of Mount Brandon along with the lakes and seas. Take caution during your drive since the roads get narrow and you may also experience dense fog. After the drive, stop by Mount Brandon, 952m above the ground, to enjoy the spectacular scenery up close. Mount Brandon is located on the northern edge of the Dingle Peninsula, and from the summit, you can view the Atlantic Ocean, the Blasket Islands to the west, North Kerry to the north, Slieve Mish to the east, and Skellig Rocks to the south. Clear days are hard to find since the mountain is on the edge of the Atlantic coast. Because of this, there are high winds, low clouds, and icy mist can even cover the mountain at times. However, Mount Brandon is open to the public all year, and there are several routes to reach the top.
