The Céide Fields is located about 8km northwest of Ballycastle, and it is a prehistoric archaeological site. The area is the most extensive Neolithic site in the world, and Céide Fields also contains the oldest known field systems in the world. It was discovered that its development goes as far back as over 5000 years!
