Kilkee is a small coastal town located on the north of Loop Head Peninsula, and it is a popular seaside resort for families all over the world. Many people travel to Kilkee to drive along the peninsula, which is filled scenic views. At the western end of the peninsula, you will find the famous Loop Head Lighthouse overlooking the waves of the Atlantic below. Colourful wild flowers of Ireland surround the lighthouse, and guests who wish to climb to the top will get some of the best views that Ireland has to offer. At the very end of the peninsula, there is a relic from WWII; large white letters that spell ‘E-I-R-E’ would let pilots know that they were entering neutral territory.
