Achill Island is the perfect place to get away. There are five Blue Flag beaches on Achill Island, including the very famous Keem Bay on the westernmost point of Achill, which is a must-see area for people on the Wild Atlantic Way. Keel Beach is also popular with tourists since it’s a great surfing location. The Cliffs of Croaghaun, the third highest sea cliff in Europe, is located on the western end of the island, although it is not accessible by road. Mountain Slievemore, which rises 672m above the ground, sits high on the northern end of the island and is filled with beautiful views.
